Berlin’s public transport gets you straight to IFA.

Berlin’s public transport network is fast, reliable and easy to navigate – even if it’s your first time in the city. Whether you take the underground metro (U-Bahn), city rail (S-Bahn) or local bus, IFA is just a few stops away.

S-Bahn (City rail)

All aboard to the nearest stations. The S-Bahn lines S41, S42, S46 stop at Messe Nord/ICC, while S3 and S9 take you to Messe Süd or Westkreuz.

U-Bahn (Metro)

No traffic, no stress. Take line U2 to Kaiserdamm or Theodor-Heuss-Platz –both just a short walk from IFA.

Bus

IFA by bus? Easy. Hop off at ZOB, Kaiserdamm, Westkreuz, Messe Nord/ICC, or Jafféstraße. Bus lines X34, X49, M49, 104, 139, 218, 349 take you there.

Bike, drive, ride-share, taxi – your route, your call. From pedal power to private wheels, Berlin’s mobility mix makes it easy to get to the venue. However you roll, IFA is within reach.

Ride light with a bike

Two wheels, full freedom. Berlin’s bike-friendly. Ride your own or use shared bikes (or e-scooters) from providers across the city. Lock-up spots are available near all entrances.

Car or ride-share

Prefer driving? Limited car parking and EV charging stations are available around the venue. Different ride-share services are also active citywide with drop-off points near main entrances. Plan ahead: Traffic around Berlin can be unpredictable.

  • 4. What are the opening hours for IFA Berlin 2025?

    IFA will take place from 5–9 September 2025 at Messe Berlin. For private visitors, doors open from 12:00 on Friday 5 September and from 10:00 to 18:00 on all following days. Families, school groups and visitors with disabilities will have access from 10:00 on all event days. 

    Trade visitors enjoy early access from 8:00 via the IFA Trade Visitor Lounge and from 9:30 to the exhibition halls on all days. All areas close at 18:00 daily. 

    Full details, including talks and exclusive events, will be available in the official IFA programme closer to the date.

    Yes! IFA Berlin features a wide variety of on-site food and drink options, including cafés, food trucks, and indoor dining areas. From international dishes to vegan snacks and barista coffee, there’s something for every taste.

  • 6. Do I need a visa to attend IFA Berlin 2025 if I’m travelling from abroad?
