Berlin’s public transport network is fast, reliable and easy to navigate – even if it’s your first time in the city. Whether you take the underground metro (U-Bahn), city rail (S-Bahn) or local bus, IFA is just a few stops away.
All aboard to the nearest stations. The S-Bahn lines S41, S42, S46 stop at Messe Nord/ICC, while S3 and S9 take you to Messe Süd or Westkreuz.
No traffic, no stress. Take line U2 to Kaiserdamm or Theodor-Heuss-Platz –both just a short walk from IFA.
IFA by bus? Easy. Hop off at ZOB, Kaiserdamm, Westkreuz, Messe Nord/ICC, or Jafféstraße. Bus lines X34, X49, M49, 104, 139, 218, 349 take you there.

IFA Berlin is well connected by Berlin’s public transport network. You can take the U-Bahn line U2 to Kaiserdamm or Theodor-Heuss-Platz, or hop on the S-Bahn lines S3, S9, S41, S42, or S46 to Messe Süd, Messe Nord/ZOB or Westkreuz. Local bus routes including 104, 139, 218, 349, M49, X34, and X49 also stop near the venue.

IFA Berlin offers a range of visitor services to make your visit comfortable and convenient. 4. What are the opening hours for IFA Berlin 2025?
IFA will take place from 5–9 September 2025 at Messe Berlin. For private visitors, doors open from 12:00 on Friday 5 September and from 10:00 to 18:00 on all following days. Families, school groups and visitors with disabilities will have access from 10:00 on all event days.
Trade visitors enjoy early access from 8:00 via the IFA Trade Visitor Lounge and from 9:30 to the exhibition halls on all days. All areas close at 18:00 daily.
