IFA 2025: Bookings surpass previous year’s level

Berlin, 09.04.2025 – Preparations for IFA 2025 are in full swing and already showing promising results. Booking levels have already surpassed those of the previous year. Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management, commented: “Our top 30 exhibitors, along with many new and innovative companies, have already confirmed their participation at IFA 2025. At this point, we’ve reached a record level of bookings for IFA 2025, clearly exceeding last year’s numbers. This proves that IFA delivers real value, something we were able to demonstrate and further expand with the successful IFA100.”

Following extensive planning that began right after the anniversary edition in September 2024, the IFA team is now progressively putting plans into action. IFA continues to adapt to the ever-evolving needs of the industry. The event concept for IFA 2025 will incorporate fresh elements and highlight new trends, particularly in the area of future technologies. One of the key themes that will be visible across many segments of IFA 2025 is AI (Artificial intelligence). In addition, the topics of content creation, audio, gaming, digital health, and mobility will be expanded and given special focus.

Ticket registration for trade visitors starts in April, with an exclusive early-bird discount of up to 28 percent available until 30 April 2025. General ticket registration for private visitors begins in early May. 

The show program for IFA 2025 is also well underway: The IFA Sommergarten will once again feature a diverse music festival that appeals to a wide audience. Whether legendary hip-hop acts, promising newcomers, or high-energy electronic beats – the line-up promises unforgettable live experiences for music lovers. Three major program highlights are already confirmed for IFA 2025:

• 5 September 2025, 20:00: Max Herre & Joy Denalane
• 6 September 2025, 15:00: Ikkimel & Friends Open Air
• 7 September 2025, 20:00: The popular podcast Fest & Flauschig returns to the IFA Sommergarten with an exclusive live event.
