Tino Piontek

German producer Purple Disco Machine, born Tino Piontek, has become a figure in the global music scene with his blend of disco, electro-funk, and house. Drawing inspiration from Prince and Gloria Estefan's Miami Sound Machine, his sound connects classic disco with modern mainstream music. His breakthrough came in 2012 with "My House," and since then, he’s produced tracks like "Body Funk" and "Devil in Me." Known for his sets, Piontek’s career grew with his debut album Soulmatic in 2017 and continued success with Exotica, earning him global recognition and over a billion streams.

In 2023, he won a Grammy for his remix of Lizzo’s "It’s About Damn Time," showing his role in bringing disco back and shaping the future of dance music.
