Riccardo Simonnetti

Born and raised in Bad Reichenhall, Riccardo Simonetti started the blog “The Fabulous Life of Ricci” at the age of 16, which would become the launchpad for his later career. The blog was about fashion and unconventional outfits. However, the personal columns primarily discussed Riccardo’s turbulent journey as a model, actor, presenter, and dreamer—the goal was always clear: to entertain people and inspire them to believe in themselves.

At the age of 14, Riccardo was already hosting his own show on local radio, and at 16, he was performing in the youth ensemble of the Salzburg State Theatre. His blog, one of the most successful in Germany, later opened doors for him in the media world: today, Riccardo Simonetti has his own TV shows, is a best-selling author, a popular TV personality, and one of the most frequently featured male celebrities in Germany.

Riccardo Simonetti strives to use his public voice in the best possible way and advocates for the issues that are close to his heart. He promotes equality and tolerance and fights against exclusion and societal stereotypes. Riccardo supports various charitable projects and is a volunteer ambassador for “Youth Against AIDS,” “DKMSlife,” and “Unicef.”

In 2019, Riccardo was named one of the “30 under 30,” the 30 most influential people under 30, by the renowned Forbes magazine.

In 2021, Riccardo Simonetti founded his own non-profit organization, the Riccardo Simonetti Initiative e.V.
