Paul Struhsaker

Paul Struhsaker is the Executive Director for the Wireless Power Consortium. Paul has been a successful entrepreneur who has started and sold several technology based start-ups. He has held multiple senior level leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies He is a successful inventor with more than 70 patents to his name. And in his spare time he has even become a novelist and short story author. Paul’s entrepreneurial passion began as Chief Technology Officer and founding member of Aironet Wireless, a pioneering WiFi technology startup acquired by Cisco Systems. He went on to found micro-cellular 4G/5G access point innovator Airspan and 4G wireless innovator Raze Technologies. As his career progressed, Paul held a series of senior innovation roles as CTO of Broadband at Texas Instruments, VP Silicon Platforms at Motorola, SVP Software Engineering at Comcast NBC Universal, CTO of Dell’s Client Solutions Group, and CTO of Carnegie Technologies (an IoT and Satellite technology sartup). Paul holds over 70 patents and patents pending in WiFi, 3GPP cellular, networking systems, and cloud client software. An industry expert, he has served as Chairman of IEEE 802.11 WiFi, Vice Chairman of IEEE 802.16 WiMax, and representative to 3GPP cellular standards groups.
