Since 2015, she has been the head of Consumer Policy Division of the Federation of German Consumer Organizations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband e. V.). Before that, from 2013 to 2015, she was the head of the Legal & International Team at the Federation of German Consumer Organizations. She began her career in the federation as an advisor on commercial law in the Legal & International Team from 2009 to 2013. From 2006 to 2009, she was the head of the European Consumer Centre Germany, and between 2002 and 2006, she worked as a lawyer at Euro-Info-Verbraucher e. V.
