Dr. Johanna Wurbs heads the Competence Centre for Sustainable Consumption at the German Federal Office for Environment. She has been working at the Federal Environment Agency since 2005, also spending some time at the Ministry of the Environment, focusing on issues related to the determination, assessment, labeling, and regulation of the environmental properties of products. Previously, the trained chemist earned her doctorate in the field of technology assessment.
