Since 2022, she has been the State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection. Previously, from 2016 to 2021, she served as the State Secretary in the Ministry for Family Affairs, Women, Youth, Integration, and Consumer Protection in Rhineland-Palatinate. During this time, she also held the position of State Commissioner for Same-Sex Lifestyles and Gender Identity in Rhineland-Palatinate.
