Andreas Eslin
Andreas Enslin studied "Industrial Design" in Munich and founded his own design office, "conceptform," in 1983 while still a student. During this time, initially together with two partners, he developed predominantly technically sophisticated products for companies such as Krinner, Dr. Mach, Merck, Rodenstock, Siemens, and Ytong AG. From 1999 to 2004, he also developed internet presences for companies, institutions, associations, and consultants. Parts of conceptform were sold in 2001, and the design activities were ended in favor of his next career step. As Vice President of Design at Grohe AG, Enslin significantly shaped the brand and design of the faucet manufacturer until its sale to TPG and Credit Suisse in 2004. Since 2005, he has been sustainably shaping the appearance of the Miele brand and leads the Miele Design Center as Vice President of Design, along with its 50-person team, which is now considered one of the leading in-house design teams worldwide. Andreas Enslin is a co-founder of the industrial network Universal Home and has served for many years as Vice President of the Association of German Industrial Designers (VDID) on a voluntary basis. He is also a member of the Technical Advisory Board 4 of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and CIMT (German Innovation Summit), and represents design associations in the German Cultural Council on AI and digitalization.
