Nicolaus Schefenacker is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at sennder. Nicolaus started his career in strategic consulting with Roland Berger, focusing on Industrials and High-Tech. Nicolaus then joined Rocket Internet as Global SVP of Sales at Caterwings, a catering marketplace firm. He started sennder with flatmate and former Roland Berger colleague David Nothacker and Julius Koehler in 2016. Since then, sennder has grown into Europe's leading digital freight forwarder. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, sennder has over 1,000 employees across 11 European offices. To date, sennder has raised over $ 350m from esteemed investors. Nicolaus holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bocconi as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School.
